About

I am a father, husband, musician, teacher, data engineer and author living in Bloomington, MN with my wife, kids, and dog. Since 1998, I have performed with local bands Slide, Justin James, 8 FOOT 4, and World According to Garth. I have taught private lessons in my home studio, West Bank School of Music (closed 2018), McNally Smith College of Music (closed 2017), and opened Three Rivers Music Academy in 2017 (closed 2023). I served on the school board for ISD 271 (Bloomington), spending one year as the school board chair. I am the currently working on my original hard rock project, Parkers Picnic, and releasing a new illustrated version of my book about my dad's life titled No Hay Problema: The Amazing Story of Tony Oliva.
